3-Day California Coast Small-Group Tour: San Francisco to Los Angeles

See the best of America's West Coast on a three-day small group tour between San Francisco and Los Angeles! You will cruise down legendary Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway), discover remote California beaches, spend time in local markets, and have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of local wildlife.

Your minivan tour begins in San Francisco with an exhilarating drive over the city's iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Stop for photos along the waterfront with the famous city skyline and enjoy the first of many amazing ocean views! After your final glimpse of 'Fog City', you will travel south to the lively university town of Santa Cruz and enjoy a stroll along its popular beach boardwalk. After a lunch stop continue on to Salinas Valley, famous for its agricultural bounty. You will have a chance to shop at a local market and pick up some of California's freshest produce before heading to your nearby hotel for the night.

On Day 2 you will drive south along one of the most scenic roads in the country, Highway 1. With the California coast on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other, you will have the opportunity to spot the local wildlife, which includes sea lions, birds and even humpback whales! After a picnic lunch in Monterey, a charming fishing town, you’ll have the chance to explore the remote waterfront. From Monterey you will continue on to San Luis Obispo, the heart of California's Central Coast with its emerald green vineyards and white sandy beaches.

Rise early on Day 3 and cruise south to picturesque Santa Barbara, often referred to as the American Riviera. Here you will have time to explore this premier resort destination known for its majestic mountains, beautiful beaches, and colorful culture. Take a stroll downtown and observe the Spanish missionary influence in the whitewashed walls and red-tiled roofs. Known for its distinct micro climates, Santa Barbara Country is rich with wine-making history dating back 200 years - before California was even a state!

Enjoy a glass of fine wine before you hit the road for your final destination, Los Angeles. Your tour concludes where fame and fortune collide in this sprawling city. Snap a photo of the famous Hollywood sign, the perfect end to your memorable three-day tour of the California coast!
