Tidsplan:
Day 1Leaving the hustle and bustle of London behind, the tour heads through the beautiful English countryside to reach the famous University City of Oxford. Here you can walk through the impressive sandstone buildings and visit Christ Church College, renowned amongst film buffs as Hogwarts Dining Room in Harry Potter! Travel through more strikingly English countryside, with a break for a pub lunch before reaching the impressive Blemheim Palace –the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The first nights’ accommodation is spent in a local Cotswold village.
Day 2
History buffs are in for a treat on Day 2, as your tour visits Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon Avon. Discover Ye Olde England of the Bard’s birth and final resting place at the famous Holy Trinity College. There will be a short drive to Anne Hathaway’s cottage, before more exploration of the picturesque Cotswold’s.
Day 3
Visit the timeless village of Lacock on the morning of Day 3, and discover the charm of the village and it’s abbey – both featured in countless television productions, such as Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter. There will be ample time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed site of Bath, and it’s fascinating Roman baths. Literature enthusiasts may visit the Jane Austen centre which examines how her life in the city affected her life and writing.
Day 4
The morning of Day Four is spent unraveling the mystery of Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument believed to be over 5,000 years old. You will then discover the cathedral city of Salisbury before the final stop of the tour at Royal Windsor. Here you can explore the famous castle, which is a favorite residence of the Royal Family, before returning to London.
