Worth doing! We were able to get to all of the attractions at our own pace.

This was our first experience with a hop on bus system. We found out that there are TWO companies that run this, so there was a bit of confusion regarding which signposts we were to follow. The route is one way, and makes a long loop. Make sure you plan where you want to go, or you will spend a lot of time going around the loop. Since we were at the far east end, we had to wait for almost an hour to get on our first bus because the busses were always full. That was annoying! If you want to get somewhere specify, take a cab or public transit. The hop-on tour is great if you want to get an overview of the city.

We do not know what happened to Barcelona on the day when we were there as it seems like there are tons of tourist everywhere. We go on the bus at the main station after an hour of queuing. Got off after 2 stops at the beach. After a stroll, we couldn't get up the bus at all as they were always full. We gave up after an hour of waiting and walked to Sagrada Familia instead. At the Sagrada Familia stop, we had to queue for another hour before we can get up the bus again. When we reached the Guell Park, we saw at least 60 people waiting to get up the bus. We decided not to get off as we are tired of waiting. In the end, we wasted money to get the tickets and lots of waiting.
