This was a wonderful half day tour to get out of Amsterdam and see some other parts of Holland. The villages were quaint and beautiful and the visits to the cheese and wooden shoe factories were interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Trip itself worth doing but there was a mix up with buses at Volendam which meant hanging around an extra 40 minutes after arranged meeting time then having to walk a distance to reach the bus. This left us little time to see the Windmills, but overall the trip worth doing.

Very disappointing tour. In Marken we saw cheese and wooden shoes being made--a good stop. Zaanse Schans was a poor stop as NOT one of the windmills were opened, the guide did NO explanations, just pointed to them. The guide only pointed toone fish restaurant. That was it! She did say a few things when we walked back thru town. That was a wasted day except for Marken. That guide should be fired, the tour should be when the windmills are opened, and something said and shown in that fishing village.

The only thing open was the gift shop; the operating windmill was not operating, and the bus driver ws not in a good mood. I would not recommend this trip.
